Carole DeMille, a founder of
APIC: "knowledge of the past
and a vision of the future"
As a visionary, Nancy
challenges her clients to keep
"one eye focused on the
present - with all its
problems and issues- and the
other eye focused on
prevention and the issues on
the healthcare horizon.

Nancy with a Citizens
Certificate of Merit for
outstanding service to the
department. Nancy was
recognized for her extensive
education of police officers
regarding infection prevention
and universal precautions to
prevent HIV infection. In
support of this award Chief

individual to commit this much
time and energy into informing
an outside agency on matters
concerning their own health,
truly is a
comment on your character and
dedication to your work. It is
through people like you that
our community enjoys a higher
